Maia Mitchell is all smiles for her interview with the Better Show in New York City on Monday morning (July 15).

The 19-year-old actress stopped by to chat up her new Disney Channel Original Movie, Teen Beach Movie, which debuts on Friday!

In case you missed it, Maia was just nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star: Female.

“Just heard I’m nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Thanks for the support! And cheers to anyone who’s been voting for The Fosters as well!” she tweeted in thanks.
