Eleanor Tomlinson Inspired by Duchess Kate for 'White Queen' Role

The 21-year-old actress recently chatted about her inspiration for the role of Isabel Neville on Starz’ The White Queen.

“I saw the character as a cross between Sigourney Weaver and the Duchess of Cambridge,” she shared with OK! mag.

Eleanor added, “Kate has this love of the people that I wanted to capture; she wants to help them but she also wants to be a part of them – she didn’t choose that lifestyle, it was thrust upon her and she wants to keep her feet grounded and doesn’t want to turn a blind eye.”
