Jason Dolley & Skyler Samuels To Star in 'Helicopter Mom'

Jason Dolley and Skyler Samuels have both landed roles in the coming-of-age comedy Helicopter Mom.

According to Variety, the 22-year-old Good Luck Charlie actor will play a high school student whose mother outs him to the entire school and sets him up on dates, even though he’s unsure about his sexuality.

There’s no word on Skyler‘s character yet. Mark Boone Junior and Nia Vardalos are also tapped to star in the film.

Production is set to begin right away in and around the Los Angeles area.

Can’t wait to see the movie! Do you need a real life helicopter mom to play the part? Call me!

Hollywood need to stop calling them “coming-of-age” movies, when they cast actors who are in their twenties and look even older.

It’s getting ridiculous how many movies are being released, where the high school ‘students’ look older than my teachers.

There are some amazingly talented real-life “coming-of-age” actors out there, who they should use.

Just lazy directors and casting people imo.

I wonder if Jason Dolley’s conservative Christian beliefs will affect whether the film presents being gay in a positive way.
