'Awkward' Season Four Coming!

Get excited Awkward fans — season four is on it’s way!

Deadline reports that the additional season is now underway since signing on Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler as new showrunners.

Awkward follows an unpopular 15 year old (Ashley Rickards) who gains immediate, yet unwanted, popularity at her high school when the student body mistakes an accident she has for a suicide attempt.

Jillian Rose Reed, Jessica Lu, Molly Tarlov, Greer Grammer, Brett Davern and Beau Mirchoff also star.

The second half of season 3 is set to return later this year on MTV.
