The 27-year-old musician has teamed up with USA Network and Cox Communications for the inaugural event, which will take place on Thursday, October 3rd in commemoration of National Bullying Prevention Month.
Carly Rae will also be featured in a Characters Unite “I Won’t Stand For…” public service announcement that will air on USA Network and and its digital channels. She’s also inviting her fans to raise their voice against bullying and enter for a chance to win a trip to the concert.
From today through September 10th, high school and middle school students can enter a national or a Cox Communications area sweepstakes to win an all-expense paid trip to attend the concert and 10 lucky people will win a chance to meet her!
“I am looking forward to hosting ‘#UniteLIVE: The Concert to Rock Out Bullying,’ and applaud USA Network’s Characters Unite, Flip the Script and Cox Communications for making this important event possible,” Carly Rae shared in a statement. “Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with programs like this, we can spark a dialogue that will make a real difference in putting a stop to bullying.”
Carly Rae is also pictured catching a flight out of LAX airport over the weekend.
