Austin Butler: Chris Wood Joins 'Carrie Diaries'

Austin Butler meets some fans while heading to the set of The Carrie Diaries in New York City on Friday afternoon (August 16).

It was just announced that Chris Wood has joined the new season of the show, as Adam Weaver, a new love interest for Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb).

TVLine reports that Adam is “a wunderkind playwright” who will develop a professional relationship with Carrie that quickly turns very personal.

Executive producer Amy B. Harris shared, “Their romance will have a huge impact on Carrie and her ‘coming of age’ story, and will have profound repercussions for her and Sebastian.”
