Kendall Schmidt: 'This is Us' NYC Premiere

The 22-year-old Big Time Rush singer became good friends with the 1D guys when they opened for BTR a while back.

The night before, Kendall hit up the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

“We go on vacation together,” Kendall told JJJ about his band mates. “You spend so much time together and it’s hard to figure out who you’re going to take on vacation. Might as well go together. We took a group of 24 of our touring friends, people’s girlfriends, our wardrobe girl, our tour account. [People noticed us], but they got the idea that we were on vacation. It was really nice.”
