Nina Dobrev Talks Elena & Stefan in 'Vampire Diaries' Season 5

Nina Dobrev keeps her shades on while arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (September 7).

The 24-year-old actress recently chatted with TVGuide about Elena being torn between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries.

“She has this weird feeling something is going on. It’s this cosmic connection you have with someone that you’ve spent so much time with and I don’t know if that will go away,” Nina shared.

She added, “She knows she’s in love with Damon, but she still cares for Stefan and wants to make sure he’s OK � and when she finds out what he’s been through, it’s not easy for her.”
