Rebel Wilson: 'Having An American Accent Hurts My Face'

Rebel Wilson is all smiles during an appearance on Good Morning America in New York City on Wednesday morning (October 2).

The 27-year-old Aussie actress opened up about the series premiere where she speaks with an American accent.

“It’s really weird now to speak in my normal Australian accent,” Rebel shared and joked, “It actually hurts my face to talk in an American accent for more than two hours.”

She also revealed that they played around with other accents for character Kimmie, including Russian. But “instead we went with American.”

After GMA, Rebel grabbed a bite to eat at Bar Americain.
