Zac Efron: 'Parkland' Out NOW!

Zac Efron snaps into action in this recent clip from his upcoming film, Parkland.

Parkland summary: November 22nd, 1963 was a day that changed the world forever when young American President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. We follow in almost real time a handful of individuals forced to make split-second decisions after this incomprehensible event that would change their lives and forever alter our worlds landscape: the young doctors and nurses at Parkland Hospital, the chief of the Dallas Secret Service, the unwitting cameraman who captured what has become the most watched and examined film in history, the FBI Agents who had gunman Lee Harvey Oswald within their grasp and Vice President Lyndon Johnson who had to take control of a country in a moments notice.

Thrust into a scenario of unprecedented drama with unimaginable consequences, these key characters respond with shock, outrage, determination and courage. Woven together, their seemingly disparate perspectives make one of the most thrilling and powerful stories never told”.

The movie it out in limited theaters NOW.

Excellent film and the acting performances were amazing. Zac is really stepping up his game with each film. His part was not as flamboyant as some of the others but he played it with true realism and a believability which is what I love more that the actors that seem to overact in films . Give a subtle , realistic , performance any day and Zac IMO you delievered it, you were Dr Carrico.

@OK: I knew you went again. LOL I guess I’ll know where to find you this week. So pleased your parents loved it as well. Older people have a connection and actual memories to the events that happened that day. Younger people can see a piece of history , but his film showed another perspective that we haven’t seen before. Very riveting and very interesting.

@Lo I think we saw two entirely different films.

@IMO Yes my friends and I went this afternoon. I saw it my parents last night.
The movie grabbed my attention from the very start.
Both times the theater was more than half full. Have to say there were lots of elderly people there. Las night was a more mixed crowd.

Can not recommend this movie enough. The entire cast is fantastic. Never a dull moment.
If I didn’t have plans today I would go again.

i normally post on just jared but i’ll post here too. i have good news and bad news. the good news is that it has been nominated for best movie at london film festival. the bad news is that it is struggling at the specialty box office
“Exclusive Media’s Parkland opened to a troubled $334,100 from 257 theaters in North America as it tried to compete with behemoth Gravity for adult moviegoers. Parkland’s per location average was $1,300.”

i mean why would you compete with Gravity? A lot of the adult moviegoers who went to see Gravity are the same ones who would have enjoyed Parkland. The hype Gravity has gained should have not been competed with. Too bad. I know that Neighbors will do very well though.
