Miley Cyrus sticks out her tongue during her appearance on The Today Show on Monday morning (October 7) in New York City.

The 20-year-old entertainer opened up to Matt Lauer about her VMA performance, feud with Sinead O’Connor, and more.

“I don’t plan to offend people, but sometimes it happens because they aren’t open to what they understand,” Miley said. She also performed her hits “We Can’t Stop.” “Wrecking Ball,” and “Party in the U.S.A.”
