Nastia Liukin: Salute to Women In Sports Awards 2013

Nastia Liukin hits the stage at the 2013 Salute to Women In Sports Awards held at Cipriani, Wall Street on Wednesday night (October 16) in New York City.

The 23-year-old former Olympian tweeted, “Always such an inspiring night @WomensSportsFdn. Thank you so much for having me again this year. Xo.”

After attending the “Swim for Relief” benefit at Herald Square earlier in the month, Nastia opened up about gymnast Simone Biles.

“You can see that fire in her eyes,” Nastia shared. “Her skills are just through the roof. It’s not just her skills, but it’s the way that she executes them. It’s the Amanar on vault. She got a skill named after her on floor (exercise).”
