The 25-year-old actress also dished a bit on her own Dad. Check it:
On Dads: “We all chose and want to be on this show, and it’s something that we all feel passionate about. So not only do we have each other’s backs on set, but we’re also more than happy to defend [it] to critics who don’t like it. When you watch a show written by the guys who created Family Guy and Ted, you know what you are getting yourself into. It’s an edgy new comedy that not everyone is going to agree with because the things that I may find funny, my dad won’t necessarily find funny.”
On her own Dad: “My dad is a second grade teacher who plays golf. He’s thoughtful and thinks about what he says before he says it. I embarrass him all the time because I’m a bit crazy and I have no filter.”
On growing in her career: “If you are not growing as a person with your family and in your life, I don’t think you can really grow in your career either. I feel like I’ve been really fortunate to have gotten the right opportunities to go in there and fight for my individuality and fight for my creative growth. Like The Social Network: that was one of the most amazing growing experiences of my life. I was literally shooting Suite Life one day, then working with David Fincher the next.”
Dads airs TONIGHT @ 8PM on Fox.
