Zendaya: 'Black Nativity' NYC Premiere

Zendaya waves as she arrives at the premiere of Black Nativity held at The Apollo Theater on Monday night (November 18) in New York City.

The 17-year-old actress and singer was joined by the film’s stars Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker.

Black Nativity is about a street-wise teen from Baltimore who has been raised by a single mother and travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives, where he embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey.

“I might still be a little bitter…but gonna watch DWTS to support my big brother @MaksimC!!” Z recently tweeted.

The day before, Zendaya sang the National Anthem during the Ford EcoBoost 400 NASCAR Race at Homestead Speedway in Miami, Fla.
