Meryl Davis & Charlie White Win Fifth Straight Grand Prix Final Title!

Meryl Davis and Charlie White wow the crowd at the 2013 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final held at Marine Messe Fukuoka on Saturday afternoon (December 7) in Fukuoka, Japan.

The champion ice dancers took home their fifth Grand Prix Final title after grabbing the gold with 191.35 points, edging out friends and Team Canada’s Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue.

“It’s such an amazing feeling knowing that you put everything into it,” Meryl shared after their free skate. “We’re going to work harder than ever We’re really excited…the Olympics is the pinnacle of sport and we want to put our best skates forward.”

Charlie added on Twitter, “Happy to have another great competition in the books! What a pleasure to compete in Japan as usual! Thanks to all the fans for the support!!”
