'Prom Pact' Star Blake Draper Reveals 10 Fun Facts About Himself (Exclusive)

Blake Draper is making his movie debut in the new Disney rom-com Prom Pact!

The actor stars as Graham Lansing, the popular all-star jock, whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum.

In the movie taking place at the height of prom season, high school senior Mandy Yang (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) and her best friend and fellow outsider Ben (Milo Manheim) are surrounded by over-the-top ’80s-themed promposals. However, Mandy keeps her eyes focused on a different goal: her lifelong dream of attending Harvard.

When she finds out that she has been put on the waitlist, she is determined to do whatever she can do to get herself accepted, even if that means asking for help from the one person she abhors ― popular all-star jock Graham Lansing (Draper), whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum.

Once Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she begins to realize there’s more to him than she thought and perhaps something more to life than Harvard.

If you didn’t know, Blake is from Australia, and like many Australian actors, got his start on the soap opera Neighbours, which was recently saved from cancelation.

1. I’m an extremely die hard Beatles fan, I have been ever since I was 7. John Lennon is my favourite of the four.
2. Before acting, I was a Martial Arts instructor. As it’s the family business, I starting learning as soon as I could walk.
3. I’m a big time Vinyl lover, I’m always playing my LP’s on my vintage record player from the 60s. The last album I played was The Kick inside – Kate Bush, a favourite of mine.
4. On my 7th birthday I was gifted a drum kit and have been playing ever since. A few years later I picked up the guitar and bass and taught myself both.
5. My favourite actors are Heath Ledger, Robert Pattinson and Paul Mescal among many, many more.
6. I love to paint and draw, one of my dreams as a young boy was to become a comic book artist.
7. I love reading! Whether that’s novels or plays. My favourite book of all time is Emily Brontë’s “Wuthering Heights”. Heathcliff is my dream role.
8. Being cast without my consent as Aladdin in my school’s Grade 4 production is what started my journey as an actor. I’m unbelievably grateful to my teacher for doing so.
9. For all my Harry Potter fans out there, I’m a Hufflepuff.
10. I booked the role of Graham Lansing all online from Australia! It started with an initial self tape and then became online video callbacks. The scariest bit was the looming threat of the internet cutting out.
