The 19-year-old actor opens up to the mag about his role on The Fosters, his fitness regimen, and his dream role. Check it:
On how he chooses roles: “Diversity is an essential component of my life and career. I try to approach each role with a different perspective and learn from past performances to create better work. My role, Jesus Foster, often challenges me as an actor because the character and I are so different in reality.”
On his dream co-star: “My dream role would be a biopic on an influential character in history or even within film history. My dream co-star would have definitely been Marilyn Monroe, she is iconic and her legacy amazes me to this day.”
On how he spends his downtime: “When I’m not working or overseas, but focus centers on family and spending time with the people closest to me. I have a large family and many cousins and the best way to entertain a house – full of guests with great food. Having this to look forward to after a long project is the best.”
On working out: “I try to exercise every day. Whether it’s playing sports or using opportunities at work to be active, I am always moving!”
