Philip Seymour Hoffman Dead - 'Hunger Games' Actor Dies at 46

Philip Seymour Hoffman has passed away from an apparent drug overdoes, according to Deadline.

The 46-year-old actor was found dead in his New York City apartment early this morning by a close friend.

Philip played Plutarch in the highly acclaimed Hunger Games franchise. It is uncertain what will happen to his character in the upcoming films, as Plutarch is a key character in the final installment of the series.

Sam Claflin has already reacted to the tragic news, writing: “I am genuinely shocked, saddened and speechless. A truly wonderful man, with a magical touch. My hero.”

Our thoughts are with Philip‘s friends and family at this time.
