American Idol's Sam Woolf Sings Original Song 'I Try' - Watch Now!

We’ve been loving this season of American Idol and one of the people we’ve always had our eye on was the super talented Sam Woolf!

At just 17 years old, the Florida native blew us away with his audition of Ed Sheeran‘s hit song “Lego House,” as well as his original song titled “The Same.”

Now that we’re a few weeks in, the judges deliberated the Top 15 on the Wednesday (February 12) episode. So Sam decided to sing them a song he wrote about his mother leaving called “I Try,” and we were floored once again. Watch the video below to see if he made it through!

That song is exactly medicine.
A lot of talent this year but Sam has the “gift.”
And I wish there were people like his Grandpa in this broken world.
