She completely deserves it, I thought she was fantastic in American hustle she was so funny and brilliant

She is amazing at pulling off all sorts of characters with a wide range of personalities. She is one of the most bubbly and down to earth actresses of our time. She is inspiring as she encourages people to be happy in their own skin, no matter what shape or size they are or where they come from. You are a true role model Jen and I know she has a long amazing career ahead of her

She completely deserved it! She role in American hustle was AMAZING espically for such a young women. American Hustle reveled a whole new layer of Talent coming from Jennifer Lawrence. Lupita was good too but she still hasn’t made a name for her self yet but there are many awards in her further too come. So yes, Jennifer deserved it 100%. Can’t wait for her to sweep the oscar this year!

She’s great- the best part of the movie for sure!

A masterful performance… of hammy acting. High school acting at best. She is the most overrated actress of our of time.

Jen is so good but subtle in her delivery. She’s able to transform herself into completely different roles. I want her to win the Oscar!

She completely deserves it!
After seeing both 12 Years A Slave and American Hustle I can say that she deserves it more than Lupita. Jennifer’s character had so much layers and could make you hate her but sympathize for her at the same time. She was amazing!

@Mia: yeah she literally finds a way to bring up her “I LOVE FOOD- I’m considered a fat actress- I don’t exercise- nothing can motivate me to diet” shtick in every interview, yet she has steadily been getting thinner and is now officially actress skinny. No problem with that, understand its part of the job but she’s such a hypocrite, just says all this to appeal to the insecurities of her fans. Great PR tactic, and by your comment it looks like its working.

The hype around her is ridiculous, this was clearly BAFTAs way of correcting the embarrassment they probably faced last year where they were the only organisation that didnt give her an award for SLP. Had respect for BAFTA and I just lost it.

First, let’s begin with the fact that Jennifer Lawrence has no talent and no acting range. Either she’s katniss or a depresse *****. American Hustle can attest to that. She wins awards because she IS jennifer lawrence, an whether she talks about being fat (shes not) or farting or eating pizza people always have sympathy for her. **** that. She is an attention ***** who trips at the oscars and gains fans by acting like an obnoxious child. Why would anyone like her? Lupita (and frankly ever other woman in the Supporting Actress category) had strong, emotional, amd intense roles. My mother could play jennifer Lawrence’s character in American Hustle, that’s jejune the role was, requiring no skill at all. Can’t wait to see her crash and burn.

Anyone who says she can transform herself is sadly mistaken, blind, deaf, unobservant. All of her roles involve her being depressed, a rude mean biotch, or a *****. You can attempt to find a role in which she is not all of those things, but you will not. She even plays on that in her characterization of Katniss Everdeen. So anyone who says she can “transform” herself can kindly shut the **** up.

@Sonny B:
