Gold Medalist Sage Kotsenburg Gets Plane Ticket From Stranger To See Mom & Dad

Sage Kotsenburg throws up some corna hand signs as he arrives at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (February 18).

“So that was fun… Hahaha @LateShow had a great time thank you sooo much for having me on there!!” the 20-year-old Olympic gold medalist tweeted after his appearance on Late Night with David Letterman.

Over the weekend, a stranger showed the ultimate act of kindness and handed over his own plane ticket for Sage to get home to his family. What a gift!

“A man gave me his ticket so I could get on a flight home to see my mom and dad tonight! Gregory Keller words can not describe! THANK YOU!!!” Sage wrote on Twitter in thanks to the kind man. “I only have 1 day with my parents at home too so I am extra excited I get to see them!!!!!”

Sage is also pictured at Good Morning America the week before.
