The 27-year-old actress gets comfy and candid in the interview for the UK based glossy, chatting about switching coasts, her new album, Glee, and more. Check it:
On becoming a West-Coaster: “Listen, it is 90 degrees here today, I am in a tank top and flip flops right now! I devote 22 years of my life to New York City, through those harsh winters, so now I’m getting the benefit of living here in L.A. It’s such a beautiful place. Los Angeles has its negative sides for sure — all of the Hollywood stuff is not quite my cup of tea — but you know, I really love going for hikes out here and getting to enjoy the beautiful weather and all the fresh produce, so there’s lots of things about L.A. that I do love.”
On singing as Lea on Louder: “I didn’t record any songs that I didn’t feel were personal to me, so everything that i either wrote of recorded was something that I felt that I connected with, or a story that I felt I wanted to tell. Every single song is something that is true to me or has happened to me, and it a part of who I am.”
