On the art of running: “Now I see why people keep running ‚Äď it‚Äôs so addictive. The energy [at the race] was overwhelming. I was nervous at first, but once we started going, I think I was tearing up off and on for the first 10 minutes of the race!”
On keeping it all balanced: “You owe it to yourself to get out there, even if only for a mile or 10 minutes ‚Äď it‚Äôs good for your body, your mind and your soul.”
Check out her fave salmon recipe below! Ingredients: ¬ľ cup teriyaki sauce, ¬ľ cup Italian dressing (any kind), 1 5-oz. salmon fillet, 1 cup chopped broccoli, ¬Ĺ cup chopped asparagus, ¬Ĺ tsp. garlic powder, Salt and pepper, to taste.
Preheat oven to 375. Mix teriyaki sauce and Italian dressing in a bowl. Pour over salmon fillet (should cover the top of the fillet) and cook in over for about 20 minutes. Cook brown rice and steam broccoli and asparagus, then mix in a bowl with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cut up cooked salmon and mix with veggies and rice. Enjoy!
