And the most touching moment on Dancing With The Stars Season 18, so far, goes to Amy Purdy and her Dad during last night’s show (March 31) in Los Angeles.

JJJ staffers are still wiping our tears away after Amy and Derek Hough‘s emotional contemporary performance.

Amy‘s most memorable year was 1999 when she was just 19 and everything changed in a split second — she contracted meningitis and lost both of her legs plus lost kidney function. Enter in Amy‘s superhero Dad, who not only gave her one of his own kidney’s, but also her first dance after she got her new legs.

“Holy cow talk about a core workout Derek and I could make a 1 minute ab video just from this dance. Balancing on these legs are no joke!! If you liked our dance last night please vote! Thank you!!” Amy wrote after the show.
