The show brings back Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel and puts them in the role of parents to Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Auggie (August Maturo).

“Girl Meets World is a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made Boy Meets World so popular,” creator Michael Jacobs shared.

The series, premiering later this summer, is set in New York City and follows 7th grader Riley and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) as they navigate through middle school.

Their plans for a carefree year will be adjusted under the watch of Riley’s parents Cory, who works as a history teacher at the school, and Topanga, who owns an afterschool hangout known for its pudding.

Also in the cast photo: Peyton Meyer as Lucas Friar and Corey Fogelmanis as Farkle.
