Charlie White & Peta Murgatroyd Dance Controversial Rumba on 'DWTS' - Watch Now!

Charlie White slicks back his hair as he hits the floor with his new partner Peta Murgatroyd during their Dancing with the Stars routine on Monday night (April 7) in Los Angeles.

The pair danced the Rumba to Jessie Ware‘s “Wildest Moments” and got some criticism about the dance itself and whether it was a Rumba or not. Still, they took home 33 out of 40 points!

IMO, Peta set Charlie up. She being the pro, knew that wasn’t a routine that would be approved by Lyn. She threw in a lift just in case, knowing Carrie Ann would not approve. In the two sections of the dance where there was hip action, it was so subtle it was almost unnoticeable.

@kay w: Absolutely! I was furious. She sabotaged him to give James a leg up. She succeeded. I am glad I am not the only one who saw this. The pro did this for her own gain.

And why does Len scold Charlie for this so-called lack of hip movement? If there was a lack of hip movement, it’s a choreography problem, not something the non pro would necessarily know. He (Len) did the same thing scolding Charlie for the breaks in hold in the Tango Sharna choreographed in week two. She should have known better, but how would Charlie know? And why do I feel like Len and Carrie are out to get Charlie White? What’s not to like about him? He is so gracious and sweet about everything. I don’t get it. I love Drew, but to score him as Charlie White’s equal this week is ridiculous, choreography notwithstanding. Get real.
