ABC Family Takes On Paranormal Drama Pilot 'Stitchers'; Here Are 6 Actresses For the Lead

After ABC Family nixed the Alice in Arabia pilot, JJJ will admit, we were a bit bummed as that would’ve made an excellent piece of television.

But, we’re moving on and it looks like ABC Family did too — with Stitchers from screenwriter Jeffrey A. Schechter.

The drama follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.

With production around the corner — it’s set to begin in June — we’ve lined up our picks for that young woman. Check them out inside and let us know who you would cast…

I’m sorry, but why were you excited for a show that stereo-types Arab culture?

I think Skyler Samuels would be perfect for the part.

Alexandra Chando should be the lead, ABC Family was stupid for letting TLG go. she should definitely be in this.

    Kelsey Chow!

@Fatima balfaqih: Actually if you read the article (not expecting anyone to or blaming you for not) the writer of the pilot said that she would never have used kidnapped the series was supposed to be about a girl that came to a middle eastern country and was forced to stay by her family (possibly arabic) for family reasons. As the series progressed she would begin to show signs of wanting to stay, and falling in love with the culture. The writer is a former military personal and writer who worked in that area.
