Abigail Breslin: Empire State Building Goes Yellow For Project Sunshine

Abigail Breslin lights up the Empire State Building in New York City on Monday afternoon (April 21).

The 17-year-old actress painted the iconic building yellow in support of Project Sunshine that honored its volunteers during Project Sunshine Week.

The upcoming Project Sunshine “Sunshine At Night” Benefit Gala will honor Dr. Bernard M. Rosof, Abigail will receive the Project Sunshine Ambassador Award, and UnitedHealth Group will receive the Project Sunshine Award for Corporate Philanthropic Leadership. The gala will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at the Waldorf Astoria.

Project Sunshine recruits and trains a corps of compassionate volunteers who dedicate time and talent to children facing medical challenges. Project Sunshine Week aims to celebrate and honor the tireless efforts of the thousands of trained volunteers, sponsors and community members who strive to bring sunshine into the lives of these children and their families.
