Rupert Grint Talks 'Postman Pat'; Sings For The Film
Rupert Grint tries to go incognito underneath a purple hoodie as he arrives at BBC Radio in London on Friday morning (May 2).
The 25-year-old British actor stepped out to promote his new film, Postman Pat and chatted about his massive fan base and that ice cream truck he bought during his Harry Potter days.
On his fans: “It’s so crazy, I’ve never got used to that. I mean, I recognise a few of the faces [of fans]. It’s weird how you kind of become familiar with them but yeah, it’s great! [What they say to me] varies, it depends what kind of age group they’re from.”
On his ice cream truck: “[It] was actually the first car I ever bought, yeah. [I drove it] for a while but I don’t anymore, I haven’t taken it out for a while. It’s just in the garage,” he added. “The trouble is I used to drive it and people used to queue up expecting ice cream. I can’t park anywhere. Yeah I did [have stock]! I did for a while, it’s got the machine. No [I didn't charge], all free.”
After hearing his singing voice for Postman Pat: “I haven’t heard this. Ha! No, I have to say. That’s them. Totally. That’s amazing. Catchy.”
