'The Originals' Recap: What Happened in the Season Finale? What is the Baby's Name?!

SPOILERS! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

JJJ was left sobbing within the first few minutes of tonight’s (May 13) season finale of The Originals and we didn’t stop the entire hour!

Again – WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD – continue at your own risk.

Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) baby was finally born – her name is Hope! – but Hayley died when the witches slit her throat! She later came back in transition since the baby’s blood was still in her system. She had to drink her own child’s blood to finish the transition and become a hybrid!

The witches tried to sacrifice the baby to gain more power, but Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) stopped it. In return, Klaus saved him with his blood. They later staged the baby’s death to keep her safe, and Klaus handed her off to none other than Rebekah (Claire Holt), who returned in the most perfect scene EVER.

“There was no one I would trust more with my daughter’s life,” Klaus told Beks. “Be happy, sister.” It’s what she always wanted!

Meanwhile, Klaus told Cami (Leah Pipes) she was beautiful, but that they couldn’t be friends. And Davina (Danielle Campbell) was still dealing with Mikael (Sebastian Roch�) and his desire to kill Klaus, but she blocked him from doing so and locked him in that attic she hates so much.

In the final moments, Ester (Alice Evans) and presumably Finn (Caspar Zafer) appeared in other people’s bodies, on a mission to get that baby! Ahh! We can’t wait until next season!
