Jesse McCartney on Releasing New Album After Four-Year Break: 'It Was Time'

Jesse McCartney is as hot as ever as he visits the Music Choice studio on Monday (June 9) in New York City.

The 27-year-old entertainer also stopped by Fox & Friends that morning where he opened up about why he took a four-year break between albums.

“I was working on a lot of writing, and kind of wanted to figure out what it was I wanted to talk about on the next record,” Jesse said. “I had also been dabbling a lot in the acting world, took some time and shot a film in Hungary for a couple of months, and was working on a TV show called Army Wives for Lifetime.”

He added, “It was time though. I know fans have been eagerly awaiting this new record.”
