Barbie is changing jobs again — and this time she’s an Entrepreneur!
The new doll, which debuts onto shelves this summer, is following in the footsteps of her creator, entrepreneur Ruth Handler — encouraging girls to be anything they want to be — including the owner of their own business.
In addition of Barbie joining Linkedin, and sharing her personal career tips on barbie.com, she’s also teaming up with eight other entrepreneurs to inspire young girls to follow their
dreams and share inspiration with the next generation of strong women including Seraphina Botero (Girl Scouts), Rosie O’Neill (Sugarfina) and Reshma Saujani (Girls Who Code).
The entrepreneurs will offer tips and advice to young girls via an online portal and participate in a discussion on Twitter today, using the hashtag #BarbieChat.
Entrepreneur Barbie — whose accessories include a smartphone and tablet — goes on sale today at Amazon.
