Brie Larson: Shailene Woodley & I Understood Each Other Instantly

Brie Larson is red hot as she steps out for the premiere of Begin Again held at SVA Theater on Wednesday night (June 25) in New York City.

The day before, the 24-year-old actress was spotted shooting her latest film Trainwreck in Central Park.

“When Shai and I met each other, it was boom!” Brie recently told Vulture about her friendship with Shailene Woodley. “We understood each other instantly. We’re the lighthouse for each other: the beam that stays focused and guides you home.”

Shailene added, “Together, we are able to refine our ideas. In the past, we would talk about how people told us that if we wanted �’success,’ we’d have to dress a certain way, act a certain way. Brie and I always felt different, and, suddenly, when we met, that was okay. In fact, it was great.”
