Tilda Swinton Wants To Breathe The White Witch Back To Life in Narnia's 'Magician's Nephew'

Like we needed another reason to love Tilda Swinton

The 53-year-old actress, who portrayed The White Witch in the previous The Chronicles of Narnia films The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, revealed during a Reddit AMA chat that she would love to bring the White Witch back to life.

“I have always hoped that there would be the chance to make THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW.. the prequel to THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE – such a fantastic story.. the creation of Narnia and the Witch driving a coach and four horses around Victorian London at breakneck speed.. but no word as yet.. let’s cross our fingers..” she wrote in response to a fan who wondered about the witchy royal returning.

We could not agree more — “The Magician’s Nephew”, although written as a prequel, was published sixth in the series. But, “The Silver Chair” is still next in line.
