Fan favorite young adult book “A Wrinkle in Time” is being reworked by Disney to become a movie, Variety reports.
The project is being helmed by Jennifer Lee, who is best known for co-writing and directing Frozen. Jennifer impressed Disney with her thoughts on an adaptation of the classic 1962 novel by Madeleine L’Engle.
The project was first tackled by Jeff Stockwell in 2010, but now it appears Jennifer will be taking over with her vision. No director has been announced.
“A Wrinkle in Time” is about a young girl whose father, a government scientist, has gone missing after working on a mysterious project called a tesseract.
