Shawn Mendes Misses Home: 'I Get Homesick Pretty Easily'

Shawn Mendes slides by a huge crowd of fans as he arrives back at the iHeart Radio Studios after his concert in New York City on Thursday (August 14).

The 16-year-old Vine star turned star musician recently spoke to ET Canada about his fast rise to fame.

“It’s been pretty crazy. It’s weird coming back home… I miss home, I’ve been away for a month. I get homesick pretty easily. It’s been definitely a roller coaster from where it started,” he shared.

Shawn added about his music to come, “I feel like you shouldn’t put so much pressure on yourself… I think part of the reason the EP and the song did so well is because it was natural and wasn’t thought so much. If I keep doing that, the responses will be the same I’m hoping.”
