Daniel Radcliffe Talks Changing 'F Word' Into 'What If' For America

Daniel Radcliffe has his Sharpie ready so he can sign autographs after a visit to BBC Radio Studios in London on Friday afternoon (August 22).

The 25-year-old actor recently spoke with CBC about changing up What If from the original title of The F Word and a few other things, for American viewers.

“I’d rather the original script, which I fell in love with,” Daniel shared. “I think it’s just the American version that has had to be slightly tamed down.”

A new ending, and another round of re-shooting was required to replace expletives and sexually suggestive words for America and the UK.

Daniel added, “I think we all were glad that it was able to be the title and everything we envisaged first off here [Canada].”
