Lorde Wins Best Rock Video for 'Royals' at the MTV VMAs 2014!

Lorde sports her usual all-black look at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 17-year-old singer won the award for the Best Rock Music Video for her hit song “Royals.”

“just remembered the vmas are tomorrow and i haven’t picked an outfit or thought about hair and makeup a ha ha spontaneity,” Lorde tweeted the day before revealing that her killer look tonight was a last minute one.

She continued to say, tweeting: “i have an excuse – i’ve been in the studio adding new bits and pieces to the live show. so much.”
