Ed Sheeran on Rumored Ellie Goulding & Niall Horan Hookup: 'It Was a Bit Disrespectful'

The 23-year-old singer/songwriter opened up the radio DJ Howard Stern about his good pal (rumored to be Niall Horan) cheating with his girlfriend (rumored to be Ellie Goulding), all of which inspired his song “Don’t.”

“The papers say a lot of things. I have kept my mouth shut about everything,” Ed said. “I didn’t really come out of that situation upset. I was just pissed off. I just thought it was a bit disrespectful.”

He added about the guy, “It’s a difficult conversation to have. He was my mate, so I was just a bit like, ‘Umm, not cool.’”
