Great news! Young & Hungry is officially coming back for season two!
The Emily Osment-led original comedy about a feisty personal chef was basic cable’s No.1 telecast in its time period in Adults 18-34.
Meanwhile, the network also picked up a procedural drama series called Stitchers, which follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the minds of the recently deceased using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.
“Stitchers is new ground for us and I’m excited to bring procedurals to the network,” Tom Ascheim, President of ABC Family. said in a statement. “We think our fans will love the intricate mysteries that Stitchers will solve week to week as much as they love our relationship-driven dramas. We are also going back for seconds of our new comedy, Young & Hungry. Good food, good laughs – of course we want more.”
Congrats to the cast and crew!
