Logan Lerman on Brad Pitt: 'It's Intimidating When You're In A Room With Him'

Logan Lerman zips it up and down in this hot new shot from the November 2014 issue of GQ, on news stands October 30th.

Inside the mag, the 22-year-old actor opened up about his new movie, Fury, working with Brad Pitt and more. Check it:

On working with Brad Pitt: “It’s intimidating when you’re in a room with him, but he’s—it’s just such an overused term—down-to-earth. He’s just a dude. It’s Brad Pitt, the world’s biggest movie star. But it’s a situation where he’s your sergeant. And meeting your sergeant for the first time is an intimidating experience, let alone if it’s Brad Pitt.”

On training for Fury: “We went to boot camp before filming Fury. The lack of sleep was difficult to power through: We’d have to be on watch every night, so there was little sleeping. We all lived in a tent. There’s parts of it I probably can’t even speak about. They just wanted to break us down and rebuild us. It made us a family going into filming.”

Logan is also pictured arriving to the Good Morning America studios in New York City on Wednesday morning (October 14).

Just curious, since the movie Fury is about fighting Nazis and features Logan Lerman’s character mowing down SS soldiers while shouting “f–king Nazis”, isn’t it kind of relevant to mention that Logan is Jewish and the grandson of Holocaust refugees? I notice neither the former fact nor certainly the latter has ever been mentioned about him in the mainstream media. Isn’t this information about him ever relevant? If he was black and the movie was about slavery, would it be relevant? I mean, if this isn’t the moment to talk about Logan’s background, when exactly would that be?
