Jonathan Bennett Tells Us The Best Thing About Being On 'DWTS'; Re-Watch All His Dances With Allison Holker!
“Let me tell you why Dancing With The Stars is the best thing you can do,” the 33-year-old actor wrote on Twitter. “It’s not because it pushes your limits and makes you try things you’ve never done. It’s not because it’s floods you with emotions you’ve never felt before. It’s not because it teaches you what being uncomfortable is (trust me until you dance on live television in front of 17 million people, you don’t know what it’s like to feel “uncomfortable”) It’s not because it creates new friendships that you know will last a life time. It’s even not because it will get you in the best shape of your life.”
Jonathan continued, “It’s because of what it does to every person you know. You don’t know what support is like until you do this show. Every person I have ever known, loved, or interacted with, reaches out and tells you how proud of you they are and how excited they are watching the show. Then they send pictures of little viewing parities they are throwing and pictures of their kids in front of the t.v. watching me and cheering. And that’s when it hit me, the best part of being on the show is how me being a contestant brought people I cared about together. Because life is about people, and I was able to bring almost everyone I know together.
“I want to thank you all for your support and love and text messages and voting and sharing this crazy adventure with me. I couldn’t have done it with out you. And don’t be sad that I’m off the show, we came and accomplished what we need for my career, and what I needed as a person. I feel alive again, and when you feel alive it makes you want to go on adventures. And even though this adventure ends here, there are many many bigger ones to come, and trust me, you won’t want to miss them. So be happy, because I am.”
While we wipe away our tears from Jonathan‘s message (so so so proud!), lets re-watch all his dances with Allison and pick which one we love the best? Deal? Cool.
