James Maslow‘s acting career is taking off!

According to Variety, the 24-year-old Big Time Rush hottie is set to star in the upcoming indie thriller Wild for the Night.

James will play “a loner seeking redemption from his past and searching for his sister’s killer who finds himself entangled in a game of seduction and revenge on the Los Angeles underground electronic dance music circuit.”

He just wrapped filming Lifetime’s Seeds of Yesterday in Vancouver, Canada.
