Emma Stone Says Auditioning for Pilots Can Lead to 'Humiliating Experiences'

The 26-year-old Birdman star was recently featured on Epix’s ongoing “Hollywood Sessions,” where she talked about the process of auditioning for television during pilot season.
“I’ve been through pilot season. It’s a crushing blow of a couple months where you go and you audition for pilots for TV shows and it’s like 5 a week. And there’s a sort of disposable feeling sometimes because there’s a bunch of actors who look just like you in your age range, reading for three minutes for a part.
