Nikki Reed & Ian Somerhalder Celebrate Better Lives for Farm Animals!

Nikki Reed and her boyfriend Ian Somerhalder pose for a photo together at the Humane Society of the United States’ Proposition 2 celebration on Monday (January 5) in Los Angeles.

At the big celebration, which was also attended by actress Kate Mara, the HSUS President & CEO Wayne Pacelle spoke on the importance of farm animal protection. They all celebrated the implementation of California’s Proposition 2 to call on retailers to use only cage-free animal products.

“I’m grateful to organizations like The Humane Society of the United States for spearheading game-changing legislation like Prop 2 to improve the lives of farm animals. Laws like these do so much to raise awareness about the plight of billions of animals raised for food, and open doors to other states to consider adopting similar measures as consumer demand for more humane products skyrockets by the day,” Kate said in a statement.
