Anna Kendrick Reveals the Greatest Torture From Her Teen Years

Anna Kendrick graces the cover of Nylon magazine’s February 2015 issue, on newsstands January 20.

29-year-old Into the Woods actress had to share with the mag:

On her great torture growing up: “The great torture from my teen years into my mid-20s was trying to get attention from guys who were not interested in me—like, at all. So I’m happy that now my type is a nice guy who likes me back.”

On being a late bloomer: “I was a very late bloomer. I was the smallest in my class, always telling myself, ‘I’m never getting boobs!’ I remember being comforted by hearing that guys like small boobs and big boobs. They like any boobs!’ At the time I was like, ‘That is excellent news!’”

On people being too confident: “Sometimes I meet people who are too confident. I’m like, ‘I don’t even like being around you. You’re boring. Get a neurosis, and then we’ll talk.”

I don’t get the hype around her

She a triple threat. She acts sings and dances. She brilliantly good in two of them, has been on the stage since she was 12, she is staggeringly pretty, but in a unique way, and she has a highly self-deprecating personality which makes her adorable. And she is highly intelligent and a excellent conversationalist guaranteed to make you laugh. Will that do?
