Gigi Hadid Thanks Instagram & Fans For Helping Her Land Modeling Campaigns

Gigi Hadid keeps her eyes down and covers her head with a ball cap while leaving the Shore Bar in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (January 21).

The 19-year-old model made is a casual date night with boyfriend, musician Cody Simpson.

Speaking with Style.com, Gigi opened up about the power of fans and social media in helping her land modeling campaigns.

“It’s crazy! I’ve always said that I feel lucky to live in the era of social media and be a working model in this time. Back in the day, models were just another face. But social media has given people a voice and not just another face. Not only can you show the world your personality and stuff like that, but you can be a brand ambassador easily. You can connect with people much easier because you have a voice,” she shared.

Gigi‘s tips for the the best selfies? “Good lighting. Always be near a window if you’re inside. Natural light. And then when you’re outside, it’s always good to be in a sunny place but in the shade facing the light so you’re not overexposed.”
