Sam Smith Is the Grammys' Best New Artist of 2015!

Sam Smith kicked off the evening with a big win at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old singer was victorious in the Best New Artist category and his award was presented to him by Taylor Swift.

Sam beat out Iggy Azalea, Haim, Bastille, and Brandy Clark for the big honor. All of the nominees said it was the one award they wanted to win tonight as they only can be nominated for it once in their career.
