Cierra Ramirez Is The Biggest Braillie Fan You'll Ever Meet

The 19-year-old Fosters actress opened up about the show, foster system and more. Check it:

On having the support of her parents: “I didn’t expect them to be as willing to support me in what I wanted to do, so I’m very lucky. I feel very blessed that I am able to have my family there with me in L.A. as well.”

On Mariana: “She was very interested in finding out her background and what that meant to her. So that led to her obviously meeting her birth mother. It turns out [Mariana is] not all about the nails and all about the hair. She’s actually pretty smart. She’s taking up coding as well, so she’s a little smarty.”

On learning about the foster system: “I love being able to represent such a big part of the world like that, and they’re not really represented on TV. The best reward at the end of the day is to see that it touches lives, and it’s kind of making a difference. It’s kind of surreal being a part of something like that.”

On the show’s love story between Brandon and Callie: “I’m a huge Brallie fan. So I know fans are expecting so much, especially after the finale. That was such a cliffhanger. It’s going to be interesting, especially with that storyline, because I feel like they’re both evolving as characters, and they’re both going through their own stuff.”
