The State of Florida Is Trying to Ban Transgender Teen Jazz Jennings From Using The Girls Bathroom

Jazz Jennings stops by The Meredith Vieira Show in New York City on Thursday morning (March 26).

The 14-year-old teen activist opened up to Meredith about being bullied and how the state of Florida is trying to keep her from using the bathroom at her school!

“My state is trying to ban me from using the girls bathroom and they want to put me in jail,” Jazz explained. “The state of Florida, and that’s something that I just can’t accept at all.”

She added, “I do not think this should go through because I should have the right to use the bathroom. I lock the door, make sure no one walks in. I think I should be able to use the bathroom, it’s just a bathroom. You’re making such a big deal out of it.”
